Eventually, his business went public and grew to three mega stores and six Harry's in a Hurry stores serving millions of customers, with 1,200 employees and revenues of 140 million dollars. In October of 2001, Harry's Farmers Market, Inc. was sold to Whole Foods Inc., the largest natural foods retailer in the country.
Throughout his twenty years as an entrepreneur, Harry Blazer never lost his love of music. In 1996, Harry's Farmers Market sponsored an evening of music with GEM, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Yoel Levi, and a jazz orchestra made up of superstars from L.A. and New York. Harry produced the event and performed and conducted as well.
